Things Objectified

for this assignment, students are asked to select an object or objects that contain or lack personal meaning. They are then tasked with creating a portfolio exploring their selection with a series of images that convey the importance or insignificance.  They are not allowed to photograph living things or landscapes without conceptual understanding. For example,  One student photographed the interior of a library, but defended his decision by explaining how the library, in his opinion, was a "tool".
